MWLUG 2014 Abstract Submission Extended until Next Friday, May 23, at 5:00 PM
With the sad news of Tim passing away, many of us have not had the time to absorb what has happened. Given that, the MWLUG committee has decided to extend the abstract submission period for MWLUG 2014 until the end of next week, May 23. MWLUG was the first time that I met Tim in person. He was one of the first to volunteer as a speaker when we first started the MWLUG conferences. He will be sorely missed.

Tim's last presentation at a User Group was at ATLUG last month - The Impact of Mobile on Human Perception. Tim had indicated he was unlikely to be able to attend MWLUG this year. He did give Red Pill permission to include his presentation as part of a ATLUG Comes to You Session that we have submitted for MWLUG. While Tim may not be there in person it may may still be making a contribution.
ps: I am not sure how I can communicate this without putting unfair pressure on MWLUG to accept the abstract.

Thanks Richard. I don't know about anyone else, but the events of this week have prevented me from sitting down and writing my proposal.
Another week is very welcome.
